Harper’s philosophy on self-perform versus subcontracted work has always been “do what we’re best at.” For self-perform work, we have strategically recruited and successfully trained the best tradesmen and women in the industry to ensure quality workmanship at an efficient value for our clients. For subcontracted work, we selectively solicit and competitively bid trade-specific subcontract packages and Harper’s field management team is responsible for monitoring and ensuring quality work is put into place by all Subcontractors. We also actively seek to hire local Harper employees and work with local subcontractors when at all possible.

Self Perform Services:

  • Process Mechanical
  • Process Equipment Installation
  • Concrete Work

What People Are Saying

“Due to the nature of the project we had an extremely tight timeline. The Harper team turned the bid around quickly and mobilized within a week with a fully staffed team on site. They worked a 6/7-day schedule without efficiency loss and brought the system up 1.5 weeks ahead of time. This gave us the necessary time to make sure the system was commissioned before regulatory deadlines. Throughout the project, the Harper team in the field worked closely with our engineers to make the design decisions necessary for the project to be successful. They used their construction insight to suggest cost saving alternatives to the original approach that helped the project come in under budget.”
