What is it?
Cloud-Based Project Management (CBPM) is the use of web-based software to document and execute the necessary functions required to perform a construction project. At Harper, we decided over a decade ago to research and facilitate a new way to execute construction projects utilizing CBPM. We now operate 100% with CBPM.
Why we utilize CBPM?
CBPM allows everyone at Harper to have a mobile platform for executing work from the office, other offices, or the jobsite. Our use of these systems begins in preconstruction and only ends when the project is complete. With continual in-house training on each platform, Harper teammates are able to stay current with progressing technologies.
This system also allows for collaboration between the clients and owners, design teams, and construction teams. More importantly, all data and correspondence regarding the project is centrally located in one hub of information for use by all team members. Finally, the most important feature is this system allows for everyone to have access to all the project data in real-time. Important issues are easily shared and handled quickly.
- Real-time communication across the entire project team
- Flexible and secure access from any web-connected laptop or mobile device to project information. Information includes schedules, subcontracts, RFI’s, submittals, drawings, project photos, change requests, budget information, etc.
- Produces enhanced project efficiency and one source of current project information

What People Are Saying
“This tool was very helpful in sharing the project progress with the Council and Administration and tracking the change orders and overall budget from an owner’s perspective. Now that we have experienced the effectiveness of this project management software, I could not imagine doing another project without it.”
