If you look out at the skyline of Greenville, South Carolina—recognized as one of the most successful urban renaissance stories in the world—you’ll see much of our handiwork. We’re proud to have played a role in the development of this city that continues to win accolade after accolade. Today, Harper is bringing that same powerful impact to other cities throughout the Carolinas.
Significant modifications to the existing Woodruff lagoon treatment facility were required to address the need for increased and flexible wastewater treatment processes. Improvements included headworks, influent pump station modifications, aeration and baffle curtains in the lagoon, as well as electrical and SCADA improvements. Harper also built a new MBBR and DAF system on site, as well as a driveway for site access, raw water pump station, sludge dewatering building, and alum sludge dewatering and mixing equipment.
