PROJECT OVERVIEW
Harper performed significant remediation and upgrades at two Facultative Lagoons for the City of Florence, SC. Work included sludge removal and disposal and repair to the side slopes of the lagoons. Harper also purchased and installed new lines, baffle curtains and nine new floating aerators at the facility. At the pump station, Harper installed two new solids handling pumps and rebuilt onf of the existing solids handling pump. To close out the project, Harper also demolished the existing fine screen equipment and replaced it with a new multiple rake bar screen. The scope of work also inclued minor SCADA and roadway improvements.
