PROJECT OVERVIEW

Harper provided pre-construction and construction services for the majority of the Spartanburg Day School campus, including the Upper School, Athletic Facility, Dining Commons, and renovations to the Lower School. The classically designed Upper School serves students in grades 9 through 12 and provides a state-of-the-art educational experience for each student. The project design includes a tasteful combination of brick veneer and cast stone cladding with aluminum clad windows and a complex roof framing system. Harper successfully completed the project in conformance to the Owner’s and designer’s objectives.

Harper also completed a new athletic facility for the school that included a full-size 22,000 SF gymnasium, training rooms, locker rooms, and a weight facility. The facility also includes a new tennis clubhouse, a viewing amphitheater and 9 hard courts.
