If you look out at the skyline of Greenville, South Carolina—recognized as one of the most successful urban renaissance stories in the world—you’ll see much of our handiwork. We’re proud to have played a role in the development of this city that continues to win accolade after accolade. Today, Harper is bringing that same powerful impact to other cities throughout the Carolinas.
The Haynie-Sirrine Sewer Rehabilitation included installing approximately 1,909 linear feet of sewer line of varying sizes in downtown Greenville, SC. The high-profile project also included the construction of a pump station adjacent to the Swamp Rabbit Trail and repaving of several residential roads. Construction was performed in a high-end residential neighborhood with a high rate of traffic. Water and sewer had to be maintained throughout the project, with carefully coordinated temporary shutoffs for reconnections. In addition to construction, Harper’s Environmental Systems Division (ESD) worked with the City and small businesses in the neighborhood to limit any loss in business due to construction.
