Furman University Administration Building

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Located in the heart of campus, this building is home to the historic university's administration and admission offices, and is the first building new students visit at Furman.

As General Contractor, Harper was selected to perform the interior renovation of Furman’s Administration Building. Harper partnered with McMillan Pazdan Smith to design the scope of the project.

The major goal of this project was to improve space utilization for the Admission Office on the first floor and the Administrative offices on the second floor. This included creating a more functional and aesthetically pleasing environment for staff and visitors in the offices. In addition, a 40-space parking lot with exterior lighting was built to provide additional parking for guests and exterior hardscape improvements were added.
