If you look out at the skyline of Greenville, South Carolina—recognized as one of the most successful urban renaissance stories in the world—you’ll see much of our handiwork. We’re proud to have played a role in the development of this city that continues to win accolade after accolade. Today, Harper is bringing that same powerful impact to other cities throughout the Carolinas.
As General Contractor, Harper was selected to perform site preparation, preconstruction, design, and construction services for a new Duke Energy Innovation Center 40,000 SF facility. The two-floor structure consists of 21 research lab suites along with 9,000 SF of Class-A office space. Extensive utility work was required due to the building’s location in an existing campus area.
The project was completed on time and under budget by $500,000. Additionally, the project was contracted to be LEED® Silver, but achieved LEED® Gold Certification.
“The bottom line is that because of the Harper team’s efforts, we were able to receive a quality innovation center on schedule and under budget. I would certainly recommend you and your team for future projects.”
