This project included work at two (2) different sites in the Upstate of South Carolina. The Harper Team worked closely with the Design Team and the Owner to ensure that all critical pipe tie-ins and pump station shut-downs were completed without any loss of service to the distribution network. These tasks were completed while keeping safety as the priority throughout the project. The project was tightly scheduled and this team approach resulted in a project that was finished on-time and under budget. Harper worked to remove two (2) existing 20 HP, 125 GPM horizontal split case pumps and associated suction and discharge piping and to provide two (2) new 25 HP, 250 GPM horizontal split case pumps and associated suction and discharge piping. The team also removed the existing magnetic flow meter on the discharge piping and replaced the old meter with a Venturi insert flow meter and flow transmitter. The Harper team also removed an existing diesel storage tank and provided two (2) new 1,000 GPM horizontal split case pumps, associated suction and discharge.
