Bon Secours Wellness Arena Phase II Renovations

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Phase II renovations to the Bon Secours Wellness Arena included improvements to two outdoor marquees, concourse and ticket office upgrades, and renovations to the back staging area and locker rooms.

Harper served as the General Contractor to complete the Phase II renovations to the Bon Secours Wellness Arena, a concert and event facility that can hold nearly 16,000 people. Renovations included improvements to the outdoor marquees (one on each side of the arena), concourse and ticket office upgrades, and renovations to the back staging area and locker rooms.

The project was done in partnership with the BSWA Management Staff to develop and execute $2.5 million dollars of funding to accomplish the list of renovation objectives for the enhancement for the arena. Improvements included the removal of the concrete concourse finishes to clearing staining on the surface, renovations of the eight concourse restrooms, design and enhancement of the concourse entries to the seating bowl, and adding tile finishes to the concession stands. The renovations in the lower bowl included the hockey team home locker room, dressing rooms for visiting teams, multiple performer dressing rooms for various venues, a “green room” for media events in connection with attractions and a second catering area for performers.
