This four-story 80,000 SF technology research center was the first signature structure on the ICAR campus. The ITRC boasts a state-of-the-art technologies system that controls all systems with a centralized dashboard, including building management, lighting controls, security, and card access.
Harper successfully completed the construction of a four-story 80,000 SF technology research center. The building was the first signature structure on the ICAR campus. The building possesses a sleek exterior with metal wall panels, curtain wall framing, cast stone veneer, and an impressive clerestory.
In keeping with its technological emphasis, the ITRC boasts a state-of-the-art integrated technologies system that controls all systems with a centralized dashboard, including building management, lighting controls, security, and card access. It also contains a significant server room/data center to serve the IT needs of the facility.
Harper worked closely with the project team to develop initial plans and construction for the infrastructure with roadways, site utilities, storm drainage, etc. Harper also had to exercise creativity and flexibility in the construction access and staging related to a brand new campus with little infrastructure in place for most of the building construction.
