If you look out at the skyline of Greenville, South Carolina—recognized as one of the most successful urban renaissance stories in the world—you’ll see much of our handiwork. We’re proud to have played a role in the development of this city that continues to win accolade after accolade. Today, Harper is bringing that same powerful impact to other cities throughout the Carolinas.
The project involved upgrades to the Breazeale, Marshall and Ducworth WWTP’s and to the Big O’Neal Pump Station. The work included new mechanical and manual bar screens at the Ducworth Plant, as well as a Kruger MBBR tank with associated blowers and new floating aerators and baffle curtain in the finishing pond. The Harper Team also decommissioned the existing gaseous chlorine system with an updated chemical feed system and mixers. Work at the three additional sites included sludge and grit removal at existing aeration and polishing ponds and modification to the existing effluent weirs.
