Harper has performed multiple maintenance projects for Kubota at their facility in Franklin, GA. Instead of pulling their own employees off their regular shifts or sending employees from out of town, Kubota relies on Harper’s Environmental Systems (ESD) team members to perform various upgrades at the facility. For example, ESD replaced several membranes in 2017 to allow the facility to continue functioning at optimal performance. The master service agreement with Kubota allows their team to effectively plan and budget for these upgrades, weighing the cost of using Kubota team members versus Harper team members. It also allows for fast response time from Harper ESD. Instead of negotiating a contract for each mini project, Kubota simply issues a purchase order to Harper using the pre-negotiated rates and conditions. This arrangement has created a positive relationship between the two companies and met a need for Kubota.
