Harper General Contractors is pleased to announce the promotion and relocation of Anthony Taylor, who will now serve as the Coastal Office Director of our Environmental Systems Division and has relocated to the Charleston, SC area. In this newly welcomed role, he will lead our coastal office by managing opportunities, divisional growth, and client relationships throughout the region. In addition to building up our clients and communities, Anthony will continue to serve as a Project Manager for Harper’s Environmental Systems Division.

Anthony’s passion for the construction industry fueled his desire to grow into a leadership role early on in his career. While attending Clemson University, he joined Harper has a Co-Op with our newly formed Environmental Systems Division and was later hired as a full-time Project Engineer in 2016. “I knew the Environmental Systems Division was special, and that I was given an incredible opportunity to be a part of the team early on,” says Anthony. Since 2018, Anthony worked in the Project Management division as Assistant Project Manager and was later promoted to Project Manager. When asked why he chose to pursue the construction industry, Anthony says, “The work is extremely challenging, but that is what makes it so rewarding when you see a great project come to completion. It offers the perfect balance of office work and field work.”

To support our Environmental Systems Division’s outstanding growth, Harper is expanding our operations on the coast. This new endeavor will accompany our established Conway office. We are lucky to be able to serve and build up coastal communities including our current work in Mount Pleasant Water Works and Summerville CPW. We look forward to bringing our 72 years of experience and trust to the South Carolina coast.
